• For hand washing F1RST GEARS apparel : avoid rough washes, wash inside out to protect the fabric and print, refrain from rubbing the logo directly, and consider using a gentle shampoo or similar product for cleansing.

• WASH ON 30, REDUCED CYCLE:

  • We recommend washing at 30 degrees Celsius (lower if possible) to preserve the vibrant colors and integrity of the fabric.
  • High heat can cause fading, shrinkage, and degradation of the print faster.
  • Keep the revolutions down and washes short to prolong the life of your garments and save energy.

• HANG DRY (OR IF YOU MUST, TUMBLE DRY LOW):

  • Tumble dryers can damage garments, cause fading, and shrinkage. Hang drying is the preferred method to maintain the quality of your apparel.
  • If you must use a tumble dryer, ensure to use a low-temperature setting to minimize damage.

• WASH INSIDE OUT:

  • Flipping your clothing inside out provides an extra layer of protection and prevents other garments from rubbing against the print, preserving its quality.

• WASH WITH LIKE COLORS / MATERIALS:

  • Avoid washing light and dark-colored garments together to prevent color bleeding.
  • Heavier fabrics like towels and denim, as well as clothing with zips or buttons, can cause excessive rubbing and damage the print.

• DO NOT BLEACH:

  • Harsh detergents or bleach can fade the garment and damage the print. We recommend using a mild detergent for gentle cleaning.

• DO NOT IRON OVER THE PRINT:

  • Ironing over prints can cause damage. Avoid high heat settings and iron around the print area to maintain its integrity.
